Embark on the next exciting chapter of your real estate career!
As an experienced property professional, you’ll know that getting your NSW Real Estate Agents Licence is one of the most important steps in your career.
Smart Academy’s distance program caters to your busy, ever-changing schedule so you can study to fulfil your NSW Real Estate Agents Licence requirements when and where it suits you.
Maximise your time & your investment
Whether you're a busy real estate professional or embarking on a new career, this program provides study flexibility plus assesses your on-the-job learning and other training so you don’t waste time studying things you already know.
This Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal assessment process that recognises the skills and knowledge you have already achieved in your life. We use competency based principles of validity, reliability, flexibility and, above all, fairness in assessing RPL.
That way, you can make the most of your time and your investment.
How the program works
The program comprises 17 nationally recognised units. This includes 3 units from the NSW Course in Property Practice which you would already have completed if you hold a current NSW Certificate of Registration.
To begin with, we’ll conduct an Assessment Consultation to identify the extent of RPL. Then we’ll confirm the remaining units you need to undertake on your Unit Order and send you customised workbooks so you can get started.
The program includes your workbook, all assessments and tutorial support.
Assessment consultation $150 Units we award through RPL $100 ea Units you completed elsewhere* No charge Remaining program units required $275 ea
* Statements of Attainment required to verify.
How assessment works
Assessment is continuous with assignments set and assessed using competency based strategies. You will be assessed as ‘competent’ or ‘not yet competent’, but relax, we won’t charge you extra if you need to re-submit a task after being assessed as ‘not yet competent’.
You’ll receive feedback on your assessments within 2 weeks and a Statement of Attainment after achieving ‘competency’.
Remember, you are required to earn 12 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points in the 12 months following the granting or renewal of your licence. Smart Academy can help you fulfil these requirements – call us on 02 9891 4655 for more information on CPD.
