As an experienced property professional, you’ll know that getting your NSW Real Estate Agents Licence is one of the most important steps in your career.
Smart Academy’s workshop program caters to your classroom preference for training so you can fulfil your NSW Real Estate Agent Licence requirements 1 night a week plus assignments and RPL.

This 'after hours' program recognises the importance of maintaining your daily work routine and considers your on-the-job learning so you won't waste time studying things you already know.
This Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal assessment process that recognises the skills and knowledge you have already gained in your life - you may not need to attend all workshops that make up the full program.
That way you make the most of your time and investment.
How the program works
- Workshops cover the Licence topics most commonly required
- Only $2,500 for RPL and as many workshops as you need to 'fill the gaps'. If you need additional units to complete the course, these are included in the fees and completed via distance learning. This includes all RPL and workshop assessment, workbooks and certification
- You need to have been in the property industry for a minimum of 2 years and have held a Certificate of Registration for the past 2 years
- Completing this program will fully satisfy your CPD requirements for 2007!
Prerequisites for the program
To undertake the workshop you will need:
- A copy of your Certificate of Registration
- Evidence of having completed CPD
- 2 letters from licenced agents who have known you in a professional capacity and can verify your current industry experience and suitability to be a Real Estate Licence holder (letters should include the agent's licence number)
- A resume detailing your work experience over the past 5 years
- Samples of marketing and advertising material you have developed
- A sample listing presentation
- A spreadsheet with your property listings for the past 6 months
- Client testimonials with specific reference to you personally
These are not required with your enrolment but you must present them on the first day of the program.
How assessment works
Assessment activities will be set each week for you to complete in your own time. You will be assessed as ‘competent’ or ‘not yet competent’ and can expect your results within two weeks.
